Post 40th Reunion Comments:
- Scott Taylor – Class President
As I reflect on our reunion weekend, it is easy to assume everyone had as an enjoyable reconnection with old friends and acquaintances as I did. I thoroughly enjoyed being with those I was closest to in high school and I sensed many were having a similar experience being with those they came to see. On behalf of the reunion committee and everyone who chipped in make the weekend a success, we hope you took as much away from our gathering as we did. Best wishes to all. Hopefully, we will come together again in another five years.
Sincerely,
Scott Taylor

What a great 40th reunion! Who says you can’t go back in time! The night of October 12th, I felt like I was 18 years old all over again. And yet, like Christmas, in one short night, it was all over. Like most reunions, there was not enough time to see and “catch up” with everyone. The picture name tags helped but I still spent a good part of the evening trying to figure out who was who. The morning breakfast at EHS was a great “ice breaker” and a great start to kick off the reunion activities.
As I posted on the web site, I have been away from the Boston area since our graduation. And yet, thanks to you, my classmates, I felt like I had never left. It takes very special people with warm hearts to welcome back someone after a 40 year absence. Thank you for making me feel so “at home”.
I returned to Albuquerque in a melancholy mood. Shortly after my return, I leaned of another classmate who has passed on. It made me realize how special life is and how fortunate I am to be able to share my childhood memories with such wonderful people! Thank you all for just being you.
Finally, a BIG thank you to all who were involved in the planning and implementation of the reunion. It is a very time consuming task with many details being considered in order to make the event successful. Thank you for your time and efforts.
Let’s try to keep the web site active. It will help us keep up with each other and make the next reunion easier for those involved in the planning.
Thanks for being my classmates – it was great seeing all of you!
Sincerely,

It’s been about a month since we enjoyed our 40th reunion. Based on the forum dialog and the reunion photos, it certainly appears that everyone had a great time. I know I did!
Seeing many of you again brought back great memories. It was hard believe that so many years had passed. Many of those in attendance were easily identifiable. Bill (Olsen), thanks for the photo ID name badges.
While talking to a close high school friend at the reunion, it occurred to me that he looked a great deal like his father did when we were younger. When I mentioned this to him his response said it all. He said that he often feels and acts much younger than the person who looks back at him in the mirror. I agree. Don’t you?
It was great seeing old friends at the reunion. Thanks to all those who planned and made the event a great success.
Well, ONLY 1,789 days until the 45th. But, who’s counting!
Sincerely,
John Frassica

The key to the phenomenal success of our 40th reunion was “YOU, OUR CLASSMATES.” Those of you who came to the dinners, breakfast, parade, football game and especially, the Saturday night reunion, made it happen with your enthusiasm, excitement and desire to have a really good time. You are very welcome for your many thanks and we hope you will help us double our numbers for the next get together. If each of us commits to bringing one more classmate to our next reunion, it will be an amazing night.
Congratulations to Walt Reston on our great EHS ’62 Website. This terrific site “dramatically” enhanced our 40th reunion and can help bring us together in the future. Your comments and photos are welcome. Let’s keep in touch; 2007 isn’t far away!
Best regards for a job very well done,
