Biography: (9/2012) I was a math teacher for many years in Connecticut. My last 22 years was spent in an alternative high school for troubled kids. I have been a single Mom for a long time and received most of my degrees at night. I didn’t get my PhD until 1997. I was the Director of Secondary Teacher Education at Fairfield University and have spent the last four years in an accelerated Masters/Certification program at UConn – Which I love! and have no thought of retiring! – it keeps me young thinking! I am still very active, love the theater, movies and TV, visit LA (where my son lives) about four times a year. I love my family and spend as much time with my grandchildren as I can. I love to spend time with friends. I have done more traveling in the last 10 years and hope to do more. I would love to hear from any of you.
