Marion Cantone Originally From Everett Passes
Marion Cantone passed March 10, 2018 at her home in NYC. She was 74. Originally from Everett, Massachusetts and a graduate of Emerson College in Boston. She was a beloved Theater Arts teacher at PS 158 in NYC for over 20 years, turning popular children’s books into plays and musicals for school productions. She touched a lot of children’s lives that later went on to a life in theater, TV, and film. She also taught acting to children and teens at The Susan Batson Studios in NYC, which is considered one of the best acting studios in the country. She is survived by loving family, brother Teddy Cantone of Readfied, Maine. Her sister Camille Cantone of Saugus, Massachusetts, And her 2 younger brothers, Joseph and Mario Cantone, both of New York City. Visiting Hours: Services: Tuesday night at Thomas Krtil Funeral Home. 1279 1st Ave NYC from 6pm to 9pm. A Mass will be held Wednesday morning 10am March 21 at St. John the Evangelist Church. 348 E 55th St., NYC. Funeral on Saturday, March 24 at 10:30 at Our Lady of Grace Parish in Everett, Massachusetts.
