Russ,

I don’t know if you have been following the problems of our classmate Phil Morris.  He has been sick for a long time and was in the hospital for most of this year.  He now has inoperable cancer and the doctors have not given him much longer to live.  His wife, Terri posted the following on Facebook:

“I GAVE HIM PERMISSION TO LEAVE ME HE IS STILL WITH US:
I just said “GOODBYE” TO MY HUSBAND, I walk out of there just shaking my head this is so SAD for US, he wants no FLOWERS please I am following his WISHES TO THE END. Instead he wants everyone to buy a new toy ‘TOY FOR TOTS PROGRAMS” As Phil was a former Marine, You have no idea what WE have done for kids in this City and you will never know how important this is to PHIL.. Semper Fi my LOVE. YOU WILL BE IN MY HEART FOREVER YOU WERE MISERABLE AND I MADE YOU SMILE AGAIN, AND BOY DID PHIL LOVE THE NEW CHARGERS WHEN THE STATION GOT THEM, A KID WITH A NEW TOY. TOGEHTER. THE BEST TEAM, JUST NOT FAIR”

I would like to see a message posted on the EHS website requesting that members of the class of 62 donate to Toys For Tots in Phil’s name. I would post it but I’m not sure how to do it.
