CLAY, Mary R. (Reynolds) Of Everett, May 18, 2011, at 99 years. Beloved wife of the late George W. Clay. Loving mother of George Clay and his wife Hollie of Northbrook, IL, Alice M. Clay of Williamsburg, VA, Susanne J. Wijtvliet of the Netherlands, and Frances Clay of Everett. Loving sister of the late George Reynolds. She is also survived by 6 cherished grandchildren and 10 cherished great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral from the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Tuesday, May 24th, at 8 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 660 Washington Ave., Revere, at 9 AM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8 PM. Due to fragrance allergies please refrain from the wearing of perfumes or colognes. The interment in Waterside Cemetery in Marblehead will be private. Mrs. Clay was a retired Everett High School English teacher, a former Girl Scout leader, and member of St. Therese Ladies Sodality.
