John J. King

John J. King, 73 NEWTON, NH — John J. King, a resident of Newton, New Hampshire, passed away on October 24th, 2017 at the Exeter Hospital. He was seventy three years old. He was the beloved husband of Eddie (Beechner) King to whom he was married twenty six years.

John was born in Chelsea in 1944, son of the late Patrick Dennis King and Dorothy (Reardon) King. He was raised in Everett and was a graduate of Everett High School. In his younger years, John enjoyed fishing and camping trips, a passion he continued into his later years. He was a member of the Fish and Game Club in Plaistow, NH. John worked for many years at Putnam Investments where he worked as a Vice President. John had a love of woodworking and liked to take things apart and put them back together again. He and his family enjoyed many trips throughout the country in their RV. More than anything, John enjoyed the time spent with his family.

In addition to his wife Eddie, John is survived by his two daughters, Taryn Hogan and her husband Mike and Tracy Lawless all of Arlington. He was the loving Grandpa of Reese, Lane, Cole, Eve, Justin and Ryann. John leaves his brother Dennis King and his wife Anne of Chelmsford and his sister Dorothy Brems and her husband James of Tewksbury. John also leaves many loving nieces and nephews.

KING — Visitation will take place on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen St., CHELMSFORD followed by his Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock at St. Mary Parish, 25 North Road, CHELMSFORD. Interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery, CHELMSFORD.
